Will the sound change?
The bitrate is lowered within the validated quality range first. Sample rate and channels stay intact. Converting to mono is only offered when stereo cannot keep quality, and only on your explicit choice.
Is there a length limit?
Audio up to 60 minutes can be compressed in the browser today. Longer files need a trim first.
